Owaisi Car Attack: Both Accused Arrested in Case of Firing Sent to Judicial Custody

Both the accused have been arrested in the case of firing on the vehicle of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) supremo Asaduddin Owaisi, who was preparing for the UP assembly elections. The accused Sachin Pandit and Shubham have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days by the police.
On Thursday, two people opened fire on AIMIM chairman Asaduddin Owaisi's vehicle at the Chhajarsi toll plaza on the Delhi-Lucknow Expressway. When this incident was brought to light, the police officers went into action right away. Owaisi personally informed the public about the incident via Twitter. The police have taken custody of both the accused Sachin and Shubham, who fired the shot. The party also urged that the Election Commission should conduct an independent investigation into the situation.
SP Hapur Deepak Bhuker said that two people, arrested on Thursday for firing on the car of AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi, have been sent to judicial custody for 14 days. Along with this, the investigation of the police in the matter is going on continuously. Meanwhile, the Government of India reviewed the security of AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi and has been provided Z category security of CRPF with immediate effect.

Owaisi on Thursday alleged that unidentified persons fired at his car while returning to Delhi from Hapur district. AIMIM will hold a peaceful protest across the country today in protest against the attack on MP Owaisi.
ADG Prashant Kumar has issued a statement regarding this entire incident. He said that two people have been arrested for firing. The weapon used in the crime has been recovered. ADG Prashant Kumar told that both the accused will be presented in court. Explaining the reason behind the attack, he said that both the accused opened fire after being hurt by Owaisi's remarks on a particular religion.
