Punjab Elections 2022: CM Channi and Navjot Singh Sidhu offer Prayers at Baglamukhi Mata and Vaishno Devi Temple

The CM face of the Congress party in the Punjab Assembly Election 2022 remains a mystery. However, it is expected that the party's top command would reveal who will be the state's chief minister from the Congress on February 6. Navjot Singh Sidhu and the incumbent Chief Minister of Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi, are the two most likely candidates for the position of Congress Chief Minister in Punjab. Even if both leaders argue that the party that decides the high command is correct, the fact is that both leaders want to be CM. This is why both Sidhu and Channi have knocked on God's door to solve their concerns.

On Wednesday, before the announcement of the CM face, State Congress President Sidhu (Navjot Singh Sidhu) paid a visit to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district. So, precisely one day later, on Thursday, Charanjit Singh Channi arrived at the Siddhpeeth Baglamukhi Temple in Himachal Pradesh and conducted the Mahayagya late at night. According to sources, the CM conducted the havan, which began about midnight and lasted around 1:30. "This is Channi's third visit since becoming chief minister," a priest stated. He has been going to the Baglamukhi temple for 18-20 years. Gupt Navratri is underway, and he had come here with his family to pray on this occasion.

Sidhu reached Mata Vaishno Devi

"He prayed for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of Punjab," the priest said. He continued to beg God for his finest performance for Punjab." Sidhu, who entered into politics through cricket, arrived at the base camp Katra on Wednesday afternoon. He then proceeded to the structure (Garbha Griha) to worship Mata Vaishno Devi. 'On the road of Mata Vaishnodevi... the heavenly grace of Mother has always safeguarded me on the path of Dharma,' Sidhu said on Twitter.

CM face will be announced from Congress on 6th February

On February 20, Punjab will conduct assembly elections. Congress, on the other hand, has yet to divulge anything about the CM's face. He added that LEDs have been installed throughout the state in this respect. Although no formal clearance has been obtained, the venue is most likely Ludhiana. Simultaneously, if sources are to be believed, current Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi would be the face of the Congress in Punjab.
