Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has received relief from the High Court in a defamation case. A case has been filed in the court against the Chief Minister for retweeting videos allegedly defaming Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the summons was issued from the lower court, the CM filed an appeal in the High Court to quash the complaint. The High Court has currently stayed the hearing of the case.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was summoned by the Delhi Court in the video defamation case. A criminal defamation case was filed against Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal by a social media group supporting PM Modi. Kejriwal is accused of retweeting a video that allegedly insulted PM Modi.
Kejriwal appeals to High Court to cancel summons
The Delhi Chief Minister had approached the High Court to quash the summons. The Chief Minister has got relief from the Delhi High Court for the time being. Earlier too, many other big leaders Kapil Sibal, late BJP leader Arun Jaitley have filed defamation cases on the CM of Delhi.
