However, it is slightly different from traditional kheer. So let's learn how to prepare apple kheer at home.

Ingredients:

2 large apples (peeled and grated)

2 tablespoons Ghee

3½ cups full fat milk

3½ tablespoons condensed milk

1/4 tsp cardamom powder

4 tablespoons chopped almonds

1 tablespoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder

1. Wash and grind the apples properly or grind them.

2. Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a pan and add grated apple.

3. Stir continuously with the help of a spoon and cook until the apples become slightly dry. Then turn off the gas and leave it to cool down a bit.

4. Pour milk in another pan and keep it boiling on medium heat.

5. When the milk is cooked and thickened, add condensed milk to it.

6. Taste this mixture a little and then add sugar as per taste.

7. Now add chopped almonds and cardamom powder to it.

8. Mix well and cook for about 5 minutes.

9. Now take it out in the bowl to serve and let it cool to room temperature.

10. When the mixture cools down, add cooked apple in it.

11. Mix well and keep it in the fridge for 2-3 hours. This kheer is ready to be served after it cools down.
