While party president Akhilesh Yadav is opposing the Citizenship Amendment Act, his family members are supporting this law. Aparna Yadav, the daughter-in-law of Samajwadi Party (SP) mentor Mulayam Singh Yadav and younger brother of former CM Akhilesh Yadav, has once again supported the CAA. Aparna reached the Uttarayani Kauthig fair and told the people that all of you should support this law, this country is in the interest. Earlier, Aparna has given her support to CAA and NRC.
These days Uttarayani Kauthig fair based on the culture of Uttarakhand is going on in Lucknow. Politician and social activist Aparna Yadav arrived as the chief guest at this fair going on in Ramlila Maidan in the metropolis. Here she supported the Citizenship Amendment Act of the Central Government and appealed everyone to support the CAA. Mayor Samyukta Bhatia was also present as the chief guest in the evening programs at the fair.
This is not the first time that Aparna Yadav has openly supported the policies of the Modi government. Earlier too, Aparna Yadav has praised the decisions of the Narendra Modi government. Aparna Yadav and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav have different views on the CAA and NRC issue. Recently, she tweeted on this issue and said that what is the problem of being registered in the register which belongs to India. In her tweet, Aparna Yadav used the hashtags of Jamia Millia, Aligarh Muslim University and December 16. she also questioned the opposition to the CAA-NRC.
