Anil Kapoor’s Film ‘Mr India’ Completed 33 Years, Actor Shared an Emotional Post

It has been a full 33 years since Anil Kapoor's film ‘Mr. India’ was released. He has shared a special post on the completion of 33 years of the film.

The release of Anil Kapoor's film 'Mr. India' has completed 33 years. He started the film 34 years ago. During which he also had to face many difficult things. 'Mr. India', a film called Anil Kapoor's milestone, was released on 25 May 1987. On the completion of 33 years of the film, he has shared a video and has told many experiences related to the film.

Anil Kapoor, while sharing the film's song Zindagi Ki Yeh Reet Hai, wrote – 'Mr. India will always be an important film for me. I remember when we started this journey 34 years ago and I used to be obsessed with information. When I used to listen to the song 'Zindagi Ki Hi Reet Hai'. I could only imagine Kishore Da's voice in it. Kishore Kumar and Laxmikant Pyarelal did not want to work together. It also took months to even get in touch with Kishore Da.'

He further wrote- When I finally did, I went to Kishore Kumar's residence and meditated their patuch up, the end result was this beautiful melody which is so uplifting during these tough times. Today is 33 years since the release of Mr. India and it's message is still as important, if not more so. Be kind to each other, do the right thing, life may get tough, bit in the end, good will prevail. 'Zindagi Ki Yehi Reet Hai Haar Ke Baad Hi Jeet Hai Thoda Aansu Hai, Thodi Hasi Aaj Gham Hai To Kal Hai Khushi.'

Let us tell you that 'Mr. India' was directed by Shekhar Kapur. The film was penned by Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar and produced by Boney Kapoor. It is the second highest grossing film of 1987.
