By the year 2040, more than 1.5 million people worldwide will need chemotherapy. A recent study published in the prestigious "Lancet Oncology" states that from 2018 to 2040, the number of patients of chemotherapy every year will increase from 53 percent and it leads to 15 million from 98 million.

This kind of assessment has been done for the first time in studies for chemotherapy at national, regional and global levels. Studies have been done by the University of New South Wales in Sydney, England's Institute of Applied Medical Research, Kingston Cancer Center, Liverpool Cancer Therapy Center and the International Agency for Research on Cancer, Leone researchers research on this.

According to UNSW researcher Brooke Wilson, the increased risk of cancer worldwide is undoubtedly the biggest problem in today's health sector. He said that there is a need to immediately create a strategy to prepare the global health workforce for safe and safe treatment of current and future patients.
