A 75-Year Old Man Commits Suicide at Laxmi Nagar Metro Station in Delhi

On Wednesday, an elderly man committed suicide at Laxmi Nagar metro station in East Delhi. The entire incident was captured in CCTV cameras. During this time, there was an atmosphere of chaos at the metro station. The deceased has been identified as Amrik Singh. His age is said to be 75 years. He was a victim of depression.

In another incident last week, Delhi Metro's Blue Line service was affected between Yamuna Bank to Noida Electronic City Station due to a passenger jumping on the track of New Ashok Nagar station. Delays in services between Janakpuri West and Dwarka Sector 21 metro stations were also recorded due to this incident.

In September, a woman committed suicide by jumping in front of the metro at GTB Nagar metro station. The name of the woman was Ayesha Khan. The incident occurred at around 8.45 am on platform number two of GTB Nagar metro station. The police rushed the woman to the hospital in critical condition, where doctors declared her dead.
