Chandrayaan-2 is fully prepared for launch. Dr K Sivan, President of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) said on Tuesday that on July 15 Chandrayaan-2 will be launched at 2.51 am from Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The ship will land near the Moon's South Pole on September 6 or 7.

With the success of the mission, India will be the fourth country to land on the moon surface. Earlier, the US, Russia and China have sent their troops to the surface of the moon. So far no country has ever seen the moon near the South Pole.

603 crores spent on mission

Chandrayaan-2 will be launched from the GSLV MK-3 rocket. There will be 3 modules orbiter, lander (Vikram) and rover (pragyan) in the spacecraft weighing 380 quintals. 8 in orbiter, 3 in lander and 2 in rover total 13 payloads. 603 crores will be spent in the entire Chandrayaan-2 mission. GSLV costs Rs 375 crore is.

All three modules will be used

According to ISRO, the orbiter will rotate the moon with its payload. The lander will land on the moon and he will set the rover. Orbiter and lander modules will remain connected. The rover will be inside the lander. The rover will be a walking device that will be used on the surface of the moon. Landers and orbiter will also be used in experiments.
