Ever since the first picture emerged on the Internet, Toyota's Maruti Suzuki Baleno-based Toyota Glanza had come to the discussion since then. So far, it was being in the news that this car will be launched at the beginning of June. However, the date of the launch has now been confirmed. Toyota Glanza will be launched in India on June 6, 2019.

The company has also released a second teaser video along with announcing the launch date. In this teaser, Glanza can be seen from the front. Spy photos of this car were also seen first. If we talk about the upcoming Glanza's front look, it has a chrome-bound grill, but apart from this, it looks like Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift. Also, Alloy Wheels like Baleno will be given. The Toyota Glanza and Variants logo here will look different only in the back.

It is expected that V variants will be the top model, which will be based on Alpha variants of Baleno and the Lower Variant G Variants, which will be based on Zeta of Baleno. If we talk about the interior of the car, it is similar to Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift. From the dash layout to the steering wheel and upholstery color skimmers, Glanza is the same as Baleno from inside, although the Toyota logo will be on steering. Even in Glanza, there will be a 7.0-inch touchscreen injection system like the Baleno Smart Play Studio Unit. However, some changes can be seen in the system interface on behalf of Toyota.

If we speak about of the new Glanza engine, according to the information received, it can be given 84hp, 1.2-liter, K12B petrol engine taken from Baleno Facelift and there will not be any diesel engine. According to sources, with the K12B in the future, a 1.2-liter K12C DualJet engine can also be provided in the future with a smart hybrid system. For transmission, here will get a 5-speed manual gearbox and CVT option.

The special difference seen in the new Glanza will be of the long standard warranty. It is hoped that the new Glanza will be launched with a 3-year / 100,000 km standard warranty, as seen in other Toyota models. If we compare, Baleno comes standardly with a 2-year / 40,000 km warranty. If we speak of the price, Glanza's price will be higher than Baleno, because only two top variants of Glanza will be sold. After launch, Toyota Glanza will be competing with Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz and Upcoming Tata Altroz.
