Congress party's interim president Sonia Gandhi held a meeting with Congress general secretaries, state in-charges and state Congress Committee presidents at the party headquarters in Delhi. Sonia Gandhi said that we have to fight with BJP and RSS. She said that one has to raise a voice against the campaigns of BJP and RSS. Raising the morale of the party leaders, she said that if we want to win this battle, then we should do so with conviction. Sonia said that we should expose the BJP and its lies in front of the people.
Sonia Gandhi also stressed maintaining discipline and unity in the meeting. She said that the spirit of strengthening the organization should be above personal ambitions. Sonia said that to protect democracy and the Constitution, the activists need to recognize the false propaganda and be ready to counter it.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi said in the meeting that, the party issues statements every day on many important issues of the country, but those messages do not reach the workers working at the root level. In such a situation, while giving advice to the leaders, Sonia Gandhi said that it is very important to convey the message of the party to the grassroots workers.
Sonia said that there is a lack of ideological clarity among the state-level leaders on policy issues. She said that ideological equality is necessary for Congress. It is worth noting that recently, there was a lot of political upheaval in the Punjab Congress. Due to this fight, former CM Amarinder Singh not only resigned from the post of CM, but he also talked about forming a new party.
