Mamta Banerjee Thanked Shahrukh Khan for Donating to West Bengal Govrnment Fund

Mamta Banerjee, CM of West Bengal has expressed her gratitude to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan has provided his support to the state at a time when the entire country is facing a disaster called Covid-19. In a tweet on Saturday, the Chief Minister said, "Thank you, Shah Rukh, your help in this challenging time will help many distressed people. Your humanitarian work will inspire millions of people of the country, who reverence and respect With you as your ideal".

Shah Rukh recently announced in a statement that he will contribute to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund through his franchise Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL. Shahrukh is owned by his wife Gauri Khan, Juhi Chawla and Jai Mehta. Along with this, Shah Rukh has also pledged to provide personal protective equipment for healthcare providers and workers in Maharashtra and West Bengal.
