Amit Sadh’s Birthday: Know some Life Interesting Facts about Him

Amit Sadh, who has appeared in films like 'Kai Po Che', 'Sultan' and 'Gold', is celebrating his birthday today. He was Born on June 5, 1983 and turned 38 years old today. Amit had told in an interview that he had attempted suicide four times in his teenage years. Amit had also said that there was no reason behind his suicide attempt.

'I just wanted to commit suicide'

Amit had said that one day suddenly he felt that he should end his life. "I tried to commit suicide four times between the ages of 16 and 18. I didn't have suicide thoughts. But I just wanted to commit suicide," he says.

He continued, "There was no planning. Woke up one day and tried to kill himself again and again. After the fourth attempt by the grace of God, I understood that this is not the way, it is not the end. Then things changed. My perspective changed. Since then I have a philosophy of never giving up."

The big actor had told him crazy

Recalling the difficult phase of his life, Amit Sadh had said, "I remember a great actor telling my ex-girlfriend – 'Yeh pagal hai, take him to a psychiatrist.' Then when I met that actor after two years, I told him- 'Sir, I am not mad.'

He said- 'Okay okay man, you are not mad.' And I said – yes. I'm not crazy I'm all right Maybe I'm too emotional or I have other issues. Maybe I feel lonely or upset. But I'm not crazy. My mind is fine."

Had to face the ban in the television industry

Amit had traveled from television to films. He worked in the serial 'Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr' when he was around 20 years old. Then after the success of the show, Amit became a victim of gang-banging and he stopped getting work in the TV industry.

Amit had said in the interview, 'I did not leave television to make a place in films. The television industry had banned me. The people working here called each other and said, 'Don't give him work. Then I said, okay? Are you not working? Then I will go to the picture again.' "Then I got a call from a very big television producer who had a lot of inquiries in the industry, so I told him too, 'Sir if you will do wrong with me then i will also fight.

Amit further told that he used his anger and frustration in his work and refined himself. Met some good people after which life changed and they understood that there is no need to fight.

Bollywood debut in 2010

Amit made his debut in 2010 with Ram Gopal Varma's 'Phoonk 2' after saying goodbye to television. After this he worked in films like 'Kai Po Che', 'Guddu Rangeela', 'Sultan', 'Sarkar 3' and 'Gold'.

Last year, he was seen in the web series 'Breathe: Into the Shadow'. In its first season too, he was seen in the role of a police officer. On the work front, Amit Sadh's last film was Shakuntala Devi, which also starred Vidya Balan and Sanya Malhotra.
