Mumbai: Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar says that her new web series 'Rasabhari' depicts important issues of society. She says that the web series has given a glimpse of the hypocrisy of oppressive society and fear about female sexuality. It shows the love story of Meerut. Swara played the role of an English teacher in it, which is the center of attraction for Nanda (Ayushmann Saxena).

Swara Talked about 'Rasabhari' Content 

Swara said, "The interesting thing about the series is that it comes as a breath of fresh air on a digital platform that has a lot of dark content. While on one hand it will entertain everyone lightly, on the other hand it will also depicts some very important issues that we do not discuss in our society."

She said, "Like teenage sexuality, the hypocrisy of oppressive society and the ongoing fear of patriarchy over female sexuality. But it's all narrated and portrayed in a funny way. I hope people will enjoy it as much as they can and must have been taking, as much as I had to handle it."
