While speaking at the White House, Trump gave this information while warning the American people. He said, 'Today, we surpassed 50 million tests. That's far more than any country in the world.' Nevertheless, he warned that in the coming time, the disease may worsen the situation.
Trump said, 'We are doing a better job in the development of potential vaccine.' It is known that so far one lakh 40 thousand people have died due to coronavirus in America, while more than 38 lakh people have been infected.
Trump called Coronavirus the 'China virus' and said, 'It's a nasty, horrible disease that should've never been allowed to escape China, but it did. It infected the world, and the world is suffering. But we are going to take care of it and we are helping other countries a lot. We have a powerful strategy for this."
President Trump came to the White House for press talks several weeks later. Earlier in April, he had said that the treatment of the virus is possible disinfectants are injected into people's bodies. This statement of Trump was fiercely criticized by others including doctors, scientists and politicians from all over the world. The virus is growing rapidly in many US states and Florida remains the epicenter of the virus.
