The American company Tesla has launched its first Electric pickup truck. The company has named it Cybertruck. Tesla CEO Elon Musk introduced it during a California event. It has been priced at $ 39900 (about Rs 28.63 lakh).
This Cybertruck has been launched in three versions – 250 miles, 300 miles and 500 miles. This is actually the range of this cyber truck. For this, pre-order can be done from the company website.
During the launch event, Tesla's design head struck several hammers at the door of the truck to test the robustness of the truck. It has been claimed that it is a kind of bullet proof door and it is very strong.
However, when the strength of the glass was tested in this event, it broke. The first window was broken, after which a metal ball was hit on it to test the second window and the second window was also broken. After this, Elon Musk said that there is still need for improvement. The company has claimed that the glass applied in it will be shatterproof armored glass.
This cyber truck can seat six people simultaneously. As we said earlier, its three models have been launched. Talking about the base model, its mileage is 250 miles i.e. 402 kilometers. This model will catch a speed of 90kmph in 6.5 seconds.
The top variant is all wheel drive and has a range of 482 km. It can hold a speed of 0 to 60 miles per hour within 4.5 seconds.
The body of this Tesla Cybertruck is made of ultra hard 30X cold rolled stainless steel. The length of the vault given in it is 6.5 feet and a suspension of 4 inches has been given here. A 17-inch touch screen infotainment system has been given in the center of the dashboard. This cyber truck has a storage space of 100 cubic feet and the payload capacity is up to 1587 kg.
Pre-orders for Cybertruck have started, but production will begin in 2021.
