Amazon.com will use a radar system to monitor the sleep of consumers. For this, it has taken the permission of the US. With this, the company will be able to understand the speed of users and know how much sleep the users have taken.

On June 22, Amazon has obtained permission to use the radar from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which regulates the airwaves. The company said in a filing that this technology picks up speed in three steps. In this, users can control its features through easy gestures and movements.

Know how much time consumers sleep

According to Amazon, the feature can help people with disabilities such as mobility, speech and touch, as well as monitor sleep with a high degree of accuracy. Amazon has further said in its filing that the use of radar sensors in sleep tracking can improve awareness and sleep timing, thereby preventing many diseases in people.

The radar sensor will help the users to know the reasons for falling asleep. Amazon has not disclosed in which device this technology will work. But it has been confirmed that it will not be for mobile devices.

Google also uses a radar system

The FCC has previously given permission to Google to use the radar system. In which this feature will be available from Radar to Pixel smartphone. Amazon has a wristband named Halo. This band is worn on the hand.

With this, it is emphasizing good health. This device tries to measure body fat and voice tone. The company has been developing such technology for a long time which can be used only at the behest of the customer. Although some reviewers do not consider this device good.
