Amazon Pay announced on Monday that a person-to-person (P2P) payment service will be available for Android users, which will allow bank-to-bank transfer using the Amazon API's platform. The company said in a statement that Amazon customers will also be able to pay bills, rent and various daily subscriptions from its platform.

Amazon Pay director Vikas Bansal said, "With this launch, our Amazon is the biggest option for shopping and payment on Android apps, which provides additional features and controls to our customers." Customers can send P2P payments only by entering their phone's contacts or by the bank account of the sender/receiver.

Under the launch offer, customers can get cashback of upto Rs 120 for sending money from the UPI. The company said that all payments are secured through Multi-Factor Authentication, which works through the customer's phone, SIM details and the UPI PIN. Bansal said, 'Our goal is to make Amazon Pay the most reliable, convenient and beneficial way for our customers.'

Let us explain to you that so far customers could use Amazon Pay for online payments. You did not have a person to person payment or money transfer facility. Using this service, customers could book online shopping, ticket booking. On which the users will even get a discount. Even after adding new options, users can use these services just like ever before.
