Aloo Bonda, the famous street food snack of South India, is the most popular snack item to eat with your evening tea or coffee. This is an easy recipe that is often eaten with sauce or chutney.

Ingredients:

6 boiled, peeled and mashed potatoes

1 cup rice flour

3 medium finely chopped green chillies

2 teaspoons red chilli powder

1 1/2 cups refined oil

2 cups gram flour

2 teaspoons finely chopped ginger

2 cups finely chopped onions

1 tbsp juice of 1 lemon

2 teaspoons salt

 Step 1:

Boil the potatoes well and mash them after peeling. Then heat the oil on medium heat.

 Step 2:

Now fry the onion, ginger, green chillies in the pan and lightly fry them. Then add red chili and salt to it.

 Step 3:

After this, add potatoes and mix and mix lemon juice in it.

 Step 4:

Then remove it from the flame and keep it aside.

 Step 5:

Now mix rice flour and gram flour in a large bowl.

 Step 6:

Add salt and water to it and prepare a good thick batter.

 Step 7:

Now, when the potato masala is cooled and made into a hand, prepare small balls from it.

 Step 8:

Then heat oil in a large frying pan on medium heat.

 Step 9:

After this, put potato balls carefully in the batter and fry in hot oil.

 Step 10:

Roast the bonda until it is golden brown and take out the extra oil on the tissue and serve it hot with chutney or sauce.
