Alok Nath Starrer ‘Main Bhi’ based on Sexual Harassment Fails to Find Distributors

Alok Nath last year amid MeToo movement had been accused of rape by writer Vinta Nanda. The actor will be seen next in the Ajay Devgan starrer, "De De Pyar De". He also shot for another film titled, "Main Bhi" before he was accused of rape, but the makers haven't found a distributor to the film because of the allegations.

TV actor-turned-producer Imran Khan told that distributors are unwilling to work on the film, and it is unfair for a small producer, "We wrapped our film by July last year, much before the allegations against Alok Nath surfaced. Since then, I have approached so many distributors and advertising agencies, but everyone is shunning the film because Alok Nath is in it. I feel it is an injustice to a small producer."

Ironically, the film deals are said to deal with sexual harassment and Alok Nath will be seen as an upright judge. Imran Khan, also clarified about the film's name he said, he had registered the title before the #MeToo movement took shape in India, and the film is said to deal with the sexual abuse of boys from Bhopal.

Imran Khan who has worked with Alok Nath and Vinta Nanda on two shows, 'Tara' and 'Hero Uncle' said that during the shoot of Main Bhi, nobody approaches him with complaints about Alok Nath's behavior.
