The monsoon session of the Legislature is starting on Thursday. The all-party meeting was held in Vidhan Bhavan on Wednesday for its preparation. In the meeting, all party leaders will be included with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The meeting will focus on running the session peacefully.
There is also a strong ruckus in both houses of the UP Legislature this time too. For the first time after the Lok Sabha elections, the session is going to start. In this, the Opposition is formulating a strategy to cover the state government on several issues, including the law and order and sugarcane farmers' outstanding arrivals, including the incident of Aligarh, while the state government is also preparing to give an apology to the opposition.
Major opposition parties such as SP, BSP and Congress are formulating a strategy to encompass the government on law and order. This strategy will be finalized in the meetings of the Legislature of these parties, while the State Government is also going to direct the members of the opposition parties to come to the House with all the preparations for the failure of the strategy.
After the all-party meeting, assembly Speaker Hardingarayan Dikshit will hold meetings with the security arrangements to be held in Dikshit assembly premises, which will keep the security arrangements of the Vidhan Bhawan campus during the session. The arrangement for cleaning of the assembly pavilion is also being done. Also, checking of mic and camera etc. is also under way. During the session, Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretary of all departments will not be able to get out of Lucknow.
