All International Football Matches may get Postponed Until 2021: FIFA’s Vice President Victor Montegaliani

FIFA's vice president, Victor Montegaliani said that all international matches could be postponed until 2021 to allow travel restrictions due to the Coronavirus epidemic. Montegliani, a Canadian citizen and president of the region of North-Central America and the Caribbean, heads FIFA's workgroup, who has been given task for preparing a future plan after a previous month's ban on football activities around the world.

FIFA has already canceled international matches to be held in March and April. Montegliani has said that national teams' matches in September, October and November can also be canceled. He said that it is my personal opinion that it will be a bit challenging not only for health reasons but also due to international travel restrictions. Montegaliani said that I believe domestic football would be a priority.

Even if we get permission to play football matches, I doubt that the first match will be played in the presence of fans or not. I think March 2021 would be a good time for international matches.
