Mumbai: On the third death anniversary of bollywood veteran Vinod Khanna, his son and actor Akshay Khanna has paid tribute to him through social media. Akshay wrote, "There is no expiry date of love between a father and his child. We will always remember you. #Vinodkhanna."

Along with this post, he has shared a picture of his childhood days, in which he and his brother Rahul Khanna are seen holding their father's hand. Along with Akshay, many bollywood stars paid tribute to Vinod Khanna.

Sharing his experience, actor Ali Fazal wrote, "I met Vinod ji once. I have never been able to take photos with him. I always used to look at him. I thought I'll get a chance to work with him but I did not and this is regret for me".  

 Vinod Khanna is being remembered for his roles in 'Mere Apne', 'Parvarish', 'Mera Gaon Mera Desh', 'Achanak', 'Inkaar', 'Khoon Paseena', 'Insaaf', 'Qurbani' and 'Amar Akbar Anthony'. He died in 2017 after a long illness.

The actor married his college friend Geetanjali in 1971 and later had two sons Rahul and Akshay. Both are actors. However, the two separated in the year 1985. After this Vinod Khanna married Kavita Daftary, daughter of industrialist Sharyu Daftary.

On Vinod Khanna's third death anniversary, his wife Kavita donated food to the needy people in Mumbai.
