The country is currently facing an epidemic of corona virus. Everyone from the central government to the state government and local administration is trying to help the people on their behalf. In view of this, now the rules of MP Nidhi Fund have also been changed. Now MPs and MLAs will be able to use part of their funds in the fight against Corona.
Congress Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha tweeted on Wednesday morning and said that thanks to the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, now all MPs will be able to give money in the fight against Corona under the MP Nidhi Fund. It is everyone’s responsibility to fight this battle.
After this, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and current Lok Sabha MP Akhilesh Yadav also announced help from his MP fund.
Akhilesh tweeted that from his MP fund, I appeal that I cooperated with all the people in this difficult time while giving 1 crore rupees for the ‘Personal Protection Equipment’ and corona-testing ‘testing kit’ of all the doctors and health workers of Azamgarh Medical College.
Significantly, a certain amount is provided to MPs and MLAs, under which they can get the development works done in their areas. But now that such an epidemic has come to the fore and all the people have been imprisoned in their homes, the MPs have decided to go ahead.
It should be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation on Wednesday, announced an amount of Rs 15,000 crore from the Central Government. This amount has been announced for health services to deal with the corona epidemic, so that there is no shortage of any kind.
