To increase its customer base between Jio Fiber and ACT FiberNet, Airtel Broadband is offering a discount of Rs 1,000 to its new customers. This new offer has been launched prominently for limited period and customers can take advantage of this through Airtel's website and MyAirtel app. The new offer is currently live in Bengaluru and Chennai circles.
Customers who are choosing an entry-level broadband plan of Rs 799 are being given free for the first month. However, customers who are taking a plan above Rs 799 are being given a discount of Rs 1,000. Airtel has listed this offer for its Bangalore and Chennai circles in its website and its app. According to the banner released on the Airtel website, this offer is only till 12 o'clock tonight.
According to the report of TelecomTalk, new Airtel broadband customers can take advantage of the discount offer on any one plan listed on the Airtel site or MyAirtel app. This discount will be applicable when the customer has successfully ordered for a new broadband connection. For the customers who select a broadband plan of Rs 799, the first month's rent will be free.
Let us tell you that at the end of October, Airtel had changed the broadband plans and started providing unlimited high speed data to the customers at an initial price of Rs 299 per month. Also, the operator changed its broadband service name to 'Airtel Xstream Fiber'. Airtel's broadband plans start from Rs 799 to Rs 3,999.
