As part of an agreement, Airbnb, a San Francisco-based startup company offering rental properties has agreed to share information about the listing of its short-term sharing in New York City. Mayor Bill de Blasio gave this information on Friday. As part of the agreement, Airbnb withdrew its complaint against New York City and agreed to share all information related to the rental so that the regulators can eliminate the image of illegal hotel operators. "There is no need for illegal hotel operators to fly the flag," the mayor said.

Airbnb and New York City will now have an agreement. Both sides announced this on Friday. In fact, there is a dispute between the two parties over a law demanding sharing of information restricting rent under the Short Term Rental Platform. Under the amended law, home-sharing companies will have to provide all information, including their hostname and address. This law will apply to listings that rent the entire house or allow three or more guests to stay at home at one time. This data has to be provided every 15 days.

Airbnb has said its business stalled due to an epidemic and the company is suffering losses. The company's CEO, Brian Chesky, sent an email to his employees last month and said, "The COVID-19 epidemic has caused a lot of damage to the business. Last year's revenue of the company was around $ 4.8 billion, which has been reduced by 50 percent this year."
