The Taliban government is about to be formed in Afghanistan. Amidst this atmosphere of fear, Air India has brought back the Indians trapped in Kabul safely. An Air India flight had left for Delhi on Sunday evening with Indians from Kabul.

According to flight radar, the Airbus A320 flight took off from Delhi at 12.43 am and landed in Kabul two hours later at 2.45 pm. It was supposed to take off from Kabul at 4.15 pm, but it could take off at 5.03. This flight has brought 129 passengers.

People fleeing From Kabul

The Taliban are close to forming a government in Afghanistan. The President and the Vice President have left the country. In such a situation, there is an atmosphere of tension in Afghanistan. Along with Afghan citizens, people from other countries are also fleeing from here. There is a heavy traffic jam at Kabul airport. The Taliban have assured the people that those leaving Kabul will be allowed to leave.

Rizwanullah Ahmedzai, a senior advisor to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, said on reaching Delhi – there is peace in most parts of Afghanistan. Most of the politicians and ministers have left Kabul. About 200 people have come to Delhi. I think these are the new Taliban, who will allow women to work as well.

Time is taken to get clearance to land in Kabul

It took time for the flight to get clearance to land in Kabul, due to which the flight had to travel around the sky for some time. An Air India official said that this flight was operated inside the air bubble in Afghanistan.

Pilots of the India Commercial Pilots Association had proposed to bring Indians from Afghanistan last Tuesday. The association had written a letter to Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia saying that we are ready to go out of the scope of our duty and bring Indians trapped in Afghanistan safely.
