With the removal of farm legislation, there is now an agreement between farmers and the government on issues like the Minimum Support Price (MSP) guarantee law, return of cases registered against farmers during the agitation. Farmers also supported the revised project sent by the central government on Wednesday, after which it is considered that as soon as the authorised letter will be received from the government on Thursday, an announcement can be made to end the farmers' agitation which has been going on for 14 months. Farmer leaders told that if an official letter will be sent by the government to accept this, then a meeting of the front will be called again at noon on Thursday and the farmers' agitation may end today.

Farmers supported the revised project

After the meeting of the United Kisan Morcha on Wednesday, farmer leader Gurnam Chadhuni said that we had not agreed on the draft that had come from the government's side. We had returned it after demanding some improvements. The government has gone two steps further. We have agreed on the draft which has come today. Now the government should send us an official letter on that draft. Everyone agrees on this. As soon as the letter arrives, it will be decided by meeting on Thursday. For this, a meeting has been called at noon, in which the final decision will be taken.

What are the new propositions?

1. The MSP committee will have spokespeople from the Central Government and the United Kisan Morcha. The committee will submit its statement within 3 months. Which will ensure how farmers get MSP.

2. All cases will be withdrawn with rapid effect. The governments of UP, Uttarakhand, HP, MP and Haryana have given their consent for this.

3. Cases registered by the Central Government, Railways and other Union Territories will also be withdrawn immediately. The central government will also demand the states.

4. The provisions affecting farmers on the electricity bill will be discussed with United Kisan Morcha.

5. Farmers will be free from the requirement of a fine in section 15 of the Central Government Act on the subject of stubble.

Farmers of Punjab are prepared as well

Most of the 32 farmers' organizations of Punjab are ready to return home. Their main demand for the recovery of the agricultural law has been fulfilled. Cases were not registered against farmers in Punjab, but cases are registered against thousands of farmers in Haryana. Apart from Haryana, there are cases of Uttarakhand, UP, Chandigarh besides other states and railways. The farmers say that if they come home like this, then they will have to face the cases after the return of the movement. This has happened in the past also in the Jat movement of Haryana and the Mandsaur shooting incident in Madhya Pradesh.
