After the Domicile Rule is Formed, Now a Plan to Bring 10 Thousand Jobs in Jammu and Kashmir

The administration has decided to take out ten thousand jobs in Jammu and Kashmir soon.  Fourth class posts will also be filled, including posts of doctors, Veterinary, Panchayat Accounts Assistant.  Only Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir will be able to apply for these posts.

In a high-level meeting held on Friday to speed up the process of jobs at various levels, Deputy Governor GC Murmu said that the process of filling the posts will be simplified and transparent.  The Accelerated Recruitment Committee has submitted its preliminary report to the Lieutenant Governor, proposing to fill ten thousand posts.  The committee has done this work in less than ten days.

An important aspect of this recruitment process will be that preference will be given to women whose husbands have passed away in class IV posts (destitute, divorced women, single women and families whose members are not in government jobs).  At the time of applying for this, a self-attested affidavit will have to be given.  The SDM will certify the affidavit at the time of selection and joining the job.  Domicile certificate will not be required at the time of application.  Domicile certificate will be sent only when the candidate is selected.

Chairman of the Accelerated Recruitment Committee, Naveen Kumar Chaudhary said that the departments have given information to fill 11 thousand class IV posts.  According to the recruitment rules, extensive investigation has been done and 7 thousand posts have been identified in 19 departments.  Notification will be issued soon for the first phase.
