Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has been admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai after his sudden health deteriorated. Irrfan is in ICU. Recently, Irrfan Khan's mother Saeeda Begum has passed away, due to the lockdown, Irrfan could not reach to her mother to see her for the last time and saw his mother for the last time through video conferencing. Let us tell you, 2 years ago, in March 2018, Irrfan Khan came to know about his illness, at that time he gave this information to the fans on Twitter. He was told that he has a neuro-endocrine tumor.
His spokesperson's statement on Irrfan Khan's health has come to light. He said- "Yes, it is true that Irrfan Khan is admitted to ICU in Kokilaben, Mumbai due to infection in colon (part of intestine). We will keep everyone updated. He is under the supervision of the doctor. His strength and courage has helped him fight and we are sure with his tremendous will and prayers of you all, his well-wishers, he will recover soon".
54-year-old Irrfan Khan underwent treatment in London, recovered and returned and also shot for the 'Angrezi Medium' film. The film was not successful at the box office because of the lockdown. Radhika Madan and Kareena Kapoor were also seen in this film along with Irrfan Khan.
