Action will be taken Against those who Attack the Medical Team under the NSA

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath yogi adityanath, who has been angry over the attacks on Corona Warriors amid the infection of Coronavirus, has clarified that action will be taken against the attackers on police and medical teams under the National Security Act (NSA).
It is clear from the name itself that these laws, which act as a deterrent to those who obstruct national security.  The National Security Act-1980 is a law to give more power to the government for the protection of the country.  If the government feels that a person is obstructing the law and order, that order can   be arrested under the NSA.  Also, if it feels that the person is obstructing the supply of essential services, then they can get arrested under the NSA.


The National Security Act came into existence on 23 September 1980 during the tenure of Indira Gandhi's government.  This law relates to giving more power to the government to strengthen the security of the country.  This law empowers the central and state government to detain a suspect.  The person against whom the order is issued under the CCP, 1973, can be arrested anywhere in India.
If the government  prevents from performing the tasks that ensure the security of the country, it can give the power to arrest  under the NSA.  If the government feels that a person is obstructing from running the law and order, that order can be detained.  This law can also be used by the District Magistrate, Commissioner of Police, State Government within its limited scope.
