Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed to submit an action plan to establish the Covid-19 Testing Lab in every district. The Chief Minister spoke to the nodal officers of 11 COVID affected districts Gautam Budh Nagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Agra, Firozabad, Kanpur Nagar, Aligarh, Moradabad, Bulandshahar, Jhansi and Basti through video conferencing at his government residence late on Thursday.
He said that at present, the target of increasing the number of 1 lakh 1 thousand 236 beds to one and a half lakhs by the end of June should be met. No patient will have to wait for examination on arrival at COVID or non-COVID hospital. Further action should be taken, ensuring the management of his medical screening within 15 to 30 minutes.
CM Yogi has directed to ensure arrangements of COVID Help Desk and Infrared Thermometer and Pulse Oximeter at Primary Health Centers, Community Health Centers, District Hospitals, and other related medical institutions. He obtained detailed information from the nodal officers about the status and prevention of infection of Covid-19 there and gave necessary guidelines.
The Chief Minister instructed all these nodal officers to stay in their respective districts till next Sunday to strengthen the arrangements and that they should inform the government about their report. He said that based on the feedback of the nodal officers, the Health and Medical and Medical Education Department should coordinate and ensure action in a time-bound manner, no carelessness should be used in this. The Chief Minister also said that no crowd should be gathered at any place, follow traffic rules. Effective action should be taken in this regard by random screening.
