Amidst the fluctuating corona cases in India, a new record of Covid vaccination has been made in the month of September. About 23 crore vaccines have been administered in the country in the last one month, which is the biggest record in any month. On Thursday, the total number of vaccines in the country reached 88.34 crores. 65.34 lakh corona vaccines were administered in the last 24 hours. In India, on 30 September, the total corona vaccination figure of Corona has reached 88,34,70,578. Whereas on September 1, 2021, the vaccination figure was close to 65.41 crores. Accordingly, 22.93 crore vaccines have been administered in the last 30 days.
The rapid increase in the cases of corona in the country or the third wave has not been allowed yet. Experts have cited the speed of vaccination as a major reason. For the first time in the country on August 27, more than 1 crore corona vaccines were administered. According to the Cowin App, while on September 1, 1.33 crore vaccines were administered in 24 hours. A total of 1,33,18,718 corona vaccines were administered that day. According to ICMR and Health Ministry, more than 2.5 crore vaccines were administered under record vaccination on PM Modi's birthday (PM Modi Birthday 17 September).
According to the current rate in the country, 40 % of the population will be fully vaccinated by December 2021. Whereas to stop the third wave of corona, it is necessary for 60 % of the population to take both doses. In such a situation, about 1.29 crore i.e. more than 1.25 crore vaccines should be administered daily. At present, the average vaccination rate on a weekly basis is 68 lakh vaccines per day. That is, 61 lakh less vaccines are being given every day.
On September 17, more than 2.5 crore corona vaccines were administered in the country. 05 times in the country so far more than 1 crore vaccines have been administered in 1 day, for the first time on 27th August.
