8 Arrested Including 2 Constables for Copying in REET

During the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (REET) held in Rajasthan, a major disturbance came to light in Gangapur City. The level-2 exam was from 10 am, but about one and a half hours before the exam, its paper came on the mobile of a constable. SOG ADG Ashok Rathod gave this information. It is worth noting that the wife of this constable was also sitting in the exam of REET.

According to sources, four such women were caught, who had already received the question paper before the examination. One of them is the constable's wife and one is the head constable's wife. Both the policemen have been suspended. At present, a total of 8 people have been detained by the district police and SOG team. They are being closely interrogated. The mastermind has also been arrested by Jaipur late at night.

Doing a deal of Rs 15 lakhs

Recently, in an attempt to get the paper leaked in Gangapur, this paper leak case was exposed on the basis of the numbers found from the mobile of Deshraj, who was caught doing a deal of 15 lakhs. The number of head constable Devendra Singh and constable Yaduveer Singh was continuously found by the police in Deshraj's mobile chat. The examination center of Devendra's wife Lakshmi Gurjar and Yaduveer Singh's wife Seema Gurjar was in Gangapur. On the basis of the numbers found in Deshraj's mobile, the police had taken the mobile of these two and another youth, Ashish Meena, on surveillance.

About two hours before the commencement of the examination, the wives of Devendra and Yaduveer, Lakshmi Gurjar and Seema Gurjar, and two other candidates, Usha Meena, and Manisha Meena, respectively, got the paper. As soon as the police and SOG came to know about this through mobile surveillance, the police-SOG teams became active and after reaching Gangapur, took the four women into custody from the examination centers.

Apart from the four women, policemen Devendra Singh, Yaduveer Singh have also been detained by the police. Ashish Meena and another youth Dilkhush Meena, who were on surveillance, have also been detained by the police. Both the policemen are presently on deputation in the forest department.
