People said that the condition of the wooden boat was already bad. Even after this, more passengers were seated than capacity. Also, bikes were tied on the boat to cross the river. Because of this the boat could not bear the weight and sank. Kota MP and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inquired about the incident from the administration. On the other hand, the SDRF team from Kota has been sent for the spot. At the same time, UDH Minister Shanti Dhariwal has also taken feedback from the district administration. He has given instructions to expedite relief and rescue operations. There was a huge crowd of people at the scene of the incident. Divers from relief rescue teams are trying to find people immersed in the river. One of the two dead bodies extracted from the river has been identified as a person named Siyaram.
