Horrific earthquake is reported on Russia's Kuril Island. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the intensity of the earthquake was measured 7.5 magnitude. This level of earthquake is difficult to see because it is classified as Tsunami. There is a huge loss in such an earthquake, but the casualties have not yet been reported from Kuril Island.

This earthquake has occurred in Petropavlok-Kamhatsky, 500 kilometers from Russia. The tremors of this earthquake that came on Wednesday morning were so strong that the whole island was stirred up. The intensity of the earthquake has been estimated at 7.5 magnitude, although there is no news about the damage to life or property. The tremors were felt at 2.49 am local time.

The damage caused by the tsunami-like earthquake is being assessed. There is no confirmed report about it yet. In view of the tsunami situation, Kuril Island has been completely evacuated. Regional emergency services have been deployed throughout the area. No information has yet been received about the casualties.
