Increasing cases of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh are becoming a matter of concern. UP’s Additional Chief Secretary Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Saturday (September 12) that in the last 24 hours, 6,846 new cases of corona have been reported. The total number of active cases is 67,955. The number of people who have fully recovered and discharged has increased to 2,33,527. Corona’s recovery rate in the state is 76.35.
Till date, more than 73 lakh samples have been investigated in the state
Amit Mohan Prasad said that the total number of active coronavirus cases in the state is 67,955 out of which 36,334 people are in home isolation. So far 1,49,396 people have been opted for home isolation, out of which 1,13,062 people’s home isolation period has expired. Yesterday (11 September) 1,40,562 samples were examined in the state. A total of 73,58,471 samples have been investigated so far.
So far, 64,447 COVID help desks have been built in the state
UP Additional Chief Secretary Avneesh Kumar Awasthi said that while paying special attention to Lucknow, CM has said that all arrangements of SGPGI, KGMU, and Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences should be improved. There are instructions to increase the capacity and manpower of these institutions. So far, 64,447 COVID help desks have been set up in the state, with the help of which about 7,36,000 symptomatic people have been identified so far.
