66th National Film Awards: Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal Won the Best Actor Award

On Monday, National Film Awards ceremony was organized at Vigyan Bhawan to honor the winners. Vice President of the country, M Venkaiah Naidu felicitated the winners. Akshay Kumar was honored for 'Best Film on Social Issue' for 'Padman'. He received the award by the hands of Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu. Akshay has earlier received the National Award for Best Actor for 'Rustom'. Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar also attended the award show. Apart from this, Amitabh Bachchan was to be awarded the Dadasaheb Falke Award. However, he could not be present at the ceremony. Vicky Kaushal is also present in this ceremony along with Akshay Kumar. Vicky Kaushal has been awarded for his film 'Uri the Surgical Strike'. This is Vicky Kaushal's first National Award. This year's his film featured the story of a surgical strike by the Indian Army. Aditya Dhar was awarded the Best Director Award for the same film.

Vicky Kaushal has shared the award for Best Actor with Ayushmann Khurrana. Ayushmann was awarded this award for his film 'Andhadhun'. At the same time, 'Andhadhun' was also awarded the Best Film. Apart from these, the award for Best Music Director was awarded to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He was awarded for his film 'Padmavat'. Jyoti has been awarded the Best Choreographer Award for Choreography in 'Padmavat'.
