63 New Cases of Coronavirus infected in Odisha, Total number of Infected reached 1723 figure

In Odisha, 63 new cases of infected with corona virus were reported on Friday, taking the total number of infected people to 1,723 in the state. A Health Department official said that on Friday, 90 people have been discharged from hospitals after being cured throughout the day, with the number of cured people in the state reaching 977. While he informed that 737 people are currently being treated in various hospitals of the state.

Out of the new cases, 61 have recently returned from other parts of the country to different districts, the official said and at the same time, 2 cases have been detected by detection of infected people. Whereas new cases have come from 15 districts and the highest number of new 12 cases came from Khurda district. After this, 11 cases have been reported from Jagatsinghpur, 9 cases from Dhenkanal, 7 cases from Nayagarh, 6 cases from Bolangir and 4 from Ganjam district. On the other hand, 3-3 cases have been reported from Balasore and Cuttack, 3 from Sundagarh and one each from Puri, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Koraput, Jharsuguda and Nabarangpur.

He said that 7 people have died so far due to infection in the state and so far, 1,43,570 samples have been tested in Odisha. If we look at the official figures of the state, more than 55 percent of the total infected people have been cured. The biggest relief is Odisha's death rate, which is much lower than the national and global average, that is 0.4 percent, that means that 0.4 out of every 100 infected people have died here.
