The report claimed that in the morning New Zealand players Trent Boult, Tim Southee, Henry Nicholls, Mitchell Santner, Daryl Mitchell, and physio Tommy Simsek went to play golf in the morning. In such a situation, the Indian team management is worried about the departure of New Zealand players. The New Zealand team management feels that their players have not broken the bio-bubble protocol, as the hotel and the golf course are on the same premises. However, Mitchell Santner and Daryl Mitchell are not in the 15-man squad announced for the World Test Championship final.

At the same time, a senior BCCI official told that the information has been given by the team management. The ICC needs to see both the teams as alike. We will take up the matter with the ICC officials.

Players not included in the 15-man squad were sent to London

25 players have gone to England for the World Test Championship final and the five-Test series with England. According to ICC rules, only 15 members of the squad for the World Test Championship final can stay at the Hotel Southampton. In such a situation, the Indian team administration has asked KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Akshar Patel, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Pramanik Krishna, Avesh Khan, Arzan Nagwaswalla, who were not included in the team, to return with their families.
