During the last 24 hours, 120 new corona patients were detected in Ranchi. The numbers of infected people in the state rose to 6,200 as 510 new cases were reported on Wednesday. With the death of seven Corona-infected patients in the last 24 hours, the death toll from the virus rose to 62 in the state.
According to the data provided by the Department of Health, there are 3,192 active patients in the state at present. On March 31, the first case of infected with coronavirus was reported in Jharkhand. A Malaysian woman was found to be Covid-19 positive.
At the same time, those who do not follow the rules of lockdown applicable to control corona infection can face up to two years in jail and a fine of up to one lakh rupees. In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Jharkhand Infectious Diseases Ordinance-2020 has approved this on Wednesday.
