In order to increase the overall experience of users, WhatsApp is releasing new features every other week. The Facebook-owned messaging platform has recently introduced many new features including Disappearing Messages, Delete in Bulk, Shopping and more. The platform is gearing up to release more and more features for users globally.
WhatsApp Read Later
The WhatsApp Read Later feature will reportedly replace the existing archived chat feature. The feature will work similarly to the long-rumored vacation mode. Once the chat feature is enabled, you will not receive messages or call notifications from selected contacts. You can enable or disable the option for a chat whenever needed.
Whatsapp Mute Videos Before Sending Features

The feature was first spotted by WABetaInfo. As the name suggests, this feature will allow you to mute videos before sending them to the same contacts as other social media platforms including Instagram and Twitter. The facility is currently being tested and will be released soon.
Report to WhatsApp
Once this feature of Whatsapp is released, the user will be able to report WhatsApp contacts sending sensitive or unwanted messages. It is being said that the messaging platform will soon release the report-to-WhatsApp option, making it easy for users to report a contact.
Whatsapp Multi-Device Support
This feature has been tested for several months. Multi-device support is in the final stages of feature testing and will be available to users very soon. This feature becomes even more important at this time because we are working from home and connected to multiple devices to maintain regular contact with colleagues and do our daily work.
Whatsapp Advanced Wallpaper

With the advanced wallpaper option, users will be able to select a specific wallpaper for the contact. The facility is currently in the development phase and will be released to all users very soon.
