Meghalaya Chief Minister Konrad A. Sangma giving information about this, said that the five people who were found to be infected have recently arrived from Delhi and Haryana. The Chief Minister tweeted, "Recently 5 more people from Delhi-Haryana have been found infected with Covid-19, whereas they are in the Corona Care Center in Shillong and do not have symptoms of the disease, with this, the number of infected people undergoing treatment in the state has increased to 7. '

With the emergence of 5 new cases, the total number of people infected with this deadly virus in Meghalaya has increased to 20, of which 12 people have recovered after treatment and one person has died. It should be noted that this virus has been controlled to a large extent in Northeast India and all the districts here are in the Green Zone, besides this there are only 7 people in Meghalaya who are being treated. In such a situation, it is believed that this area will soon completely control the coronavirus.
