Five more people died due to corona virus infection in Rajasthan on Tuesday, taking the number of deaths in the state to 251, with this, the total number of infected people reached 11020 due to 144 new cases reported. Officials said that till 10:30 am on Tuesday, two infected patients died in Jaipur, one each in Jodhpur and Ajmer. One patient of another state has also died here and this brings the total death toll in the state to 251.
In Jaipur alone, the death toll from Corona virus infection has increased to 117 while 24 patients have died in Jodhpur, 18 in Kota and 10 in Ajmer. 14 patients from other states also died here and at the same time 144 new cases of infected were reported till Tuesday morning in the state. These include 61 in Jaipur, 30 in Bharatpur, 11 in Alwar, eight in Jodhpur, seven in Churu, six in Kota and five in Sikar.
The total number of infected patients so far rose to 2321 as 61 new cases were reported in the capital Jaipur on Sunday. The total cases of corona virus infection in Rajasthan include two Italian nationals as well as 61 people who were brought from Iran to the army health centers in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer.
