4 More People Returned from Mumbai in Himachal Pradesh found Infected with Corona, Total Cases are 173 now

Officials said 110 people infected in the state are still being treated and 59 people have recovered after treatment

With the return of migrants in Himachal Pradesh, there has been an increase in cases of infected with the corona virus. According to reports, 4 more people returned from Mumbai have been found infected with the corona virus in Mandi district, whereas 3 of these people belong to the same family. Apart from these, a driver has been found to be Corona positive and with these new cases, the total number of people infected with this deadly virus in Himachal Pradesh increased to 173 on Saturday.

Chief Medical Officer Jivananda Chauhan said that 4 people who returned from Mumbai have been found infected, 3 of them are members of the same families (a woman, her 2 daughters), besides this, these people were already kept in isolation centers. Chauhan said that the woman's husband has also recently returned from Mumbai, but his test report has not confirmed infection. Apart from these, a 61-year-old taxi driver living in Mumbai has also been found infected, he brought some people from Mumbai to the state a few days ago and was kept in isolation after showing fever-like symptoms.

Officials said 110 people infected in the state are still being treated and 59 people have recovered after treatment. Hamirpur has reported the highest number of infections in the state,  55 cases have been reported in Hamirpur, 30 in Kangra, 8 in Mandi, 5-5 in Solan and Bilaspur, 2-2 in Sirmaur, Una and Chamba and Kullu. Deputy Commissioner Harikesh Meena said that all the 14 people recently found infected in Hamirpur had returned from Mumbai.
