31 New Cases of Covid-19 Reported in Manipur

Presently 279 patients of Covid-19 are undergoing treatment in Manipur and so far 63 patients of Covid-19 in the state have recovered after treatment

There have been 31 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Manipur after which the total number of infected people in the state has increased to 342, officials gave this information on Thursday.

According to a statement issued here by Covid-19 General Control Room, out of the new 31 cases, Imphal West District and Tamenglong have 13-13, 2-2 in Kutching and Ukhrul District, and one in Bishanpur District.

The statement urges people not to be discriminated against for those who have recovered from this disease.

According to the statement, "There is little chance of discharged people being infected again and those who have been discharged from the hospital should not be discriminated against."

On Thursday, China's capital Beijing reported the first confirmed coronavirus case nearly after two months. This was informed by the news agency Reuters, citing Chinese official and ruling Communist Party-backed media. The age of the patient is 52 years. He went to the hospital on Wednesday, where he was found infected with the coronavirus.

According to the report, the concern is that the patient said that he did not leave Beijing in the last 14 days. Also, he has not come in contact with anyone returning from abroad. Earlier, 15 new cases have been reported in China. Of these, 11 are imported cases. Of these 11 cases, six were reported in Shanghai, three in Guangdong, one in Tianjin, and one in Fujian.
