Piazzo India has brought its two scooters Vespa VXL and Vespa SXL in a new avatar (facelift model). Like other scooters of the company, the 2020 Vespa VXL and 2020 Vespa SXL are also available in 125cc and 150cc engine options. The Vespa VXL and SXL facelift scooters include cosmetic upgrades and new features along with the new BS6 implant engine.
Both the new Vespa scooters can be booked from the company's website for 1 thousand rupees. Vespa is also giving benefits of up to 2 thousand rupees on their purchase.
The Vespa VXL and SXL facelift scooters have undergone retro Italian styling with monocoque steel bodies and 5-spoke alloy wheels as before.
The updated models feature new LED headlights and LED daytime running lights.
Apart from this, USB charging port, boot light, adjustable rear suspension have been provided in the scooters. The front has telescopic front forks suspension.
The updated Vespa VXL and SXL scooters have BS6 compliant engines. The SXL 125 and VXL 125 feature a 124.45cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that generates the power of 9.9hp and 9.6Nm torque.
At the same time, the SXL 150 and VXL 150 scooters have a 149.5cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that generates 10.5hp power and 10.6Nm torque. Both engines are equipped with a CVT automatic unit.
The Vespa SXL and VXL scooters have discs at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The 125 cc scooters are equipped with CBS (combined braking system) and 150 cc scooters with ABS (anti-lock braking system).
The updated SXL and VXL scooters will be launched later this month. The company said that these new scooters have started being sent to dealerships. These scooters will be found at company dealerships across the country.
Piazzo has not yet announced the price of these updated scooters. However, the current model of VXL 150 is priced at Rs 1.21 lakh and the SXL 150 is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh.
At the same time, the prices of the current models of VXL 125 and SXL 125 scooters are between 1.08 and 1.12-1.14 lakhs respectively. There have not been many updates in the facelift models, due to which the prices of the new models are expected to be around the existing models.
