On Friday, Russia announced the appointment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi with his highest honor 'Order of St Andrew the Apostal'. He has been honored with this respect for strengthening partnership and friendly relations between the two countries.

Russian Embassy in India tweeted, On April 12, Narendra Modi was given the Order of St Andrew the Apostal. This honor is being given to strengthen the strategic partnership between Russia and India and to promote the friendly relations of the citizens of both countries. It is worth noting that the UAE also had announced the country's highest honor "Zayed" medal a few days ago.

On April 4, the UAE had also decided to nominate PM Modi as its highest civilian award. In this statement released by the Crown Prince of UAE, it was said, "My friend and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi played an important role in strengthening these relations."

Earlier, PM Modi has been honored with a number of important honors in South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and the UN.
