Another person died of corona virus infection in Rajasthan on Tuesday, taking the death toll from this deadly virus to 168 in the state. Meanwhile, due to 176 new cases, the number of corona virus infected in the state has increased to 7,476, whereas officials said another infected person died in Jaipur on Tuesday and with this, the total number of people who died of Corona virus infection in the state so far is 168.
In Jaipur alone, the death toll from corona virus infection has gone up to 80, while 17 patients have died in Jodhpur and 16 in Kota. However, officials say that in most of the cases the patients were also suffering from some other serious disease. Meanwhile, 176 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the state till 2 pm on Tuesday, these include 27 cases in Sirohi, 24 in Udaipur, 21 in Jaipur, 19 in Sikar, 12 in Jhalawar, 11 in Rajsamand, ten each in Kota and Pali, seven in Nagaur, five each in Bikaner and Jhunjhunu.
Rajasthan has two Italian nationals as well as 61 people who were brought from Iran to the Army Health Centers in Jodhpur and Jaisalmer in total cases of coronavirus infected, besides this there is a lockdown in the state since March 22 and curfew is in place in many police station areas.
