17 New Corona Cases Reported in Chhattisgarh, 6 Died So Far

Corona virus infection has been detected in 17 new people in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday and with this, the number of people infected with this deadly virus has increased to 1262 in the state. At the same time, on Tuesday, the corona virus infection killed an old man in Chhattisgarh, due to which the death toll reached 6. According to reports, a total of 395 people infected with the virus so far in the state have been discharged from hospital after treatment.

10 NEW CASES IN BALRAMPUR DISTRICT

State Health Department officials said on Wednesday that out of 17 new cases in the state, 10 are from Balrampur district while 2-2 from Korba and Durg districts, and one each from Korea, Bilaspur, and Bemetra districts. Officials said 14 infected people were discharged from the hospital after treatment, whereas they also said that a 70 year old man infected with the corona virus died on Tuesday in the state, with this, the figure of deaths reached 6.

70 YEAR OLD MAN INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT

On Tuesday, a patient died of a head injury and Covid-19 at AIIMS in the capital Raipur, officials said. AIIMS Raipur officials said that a 70 year old man from Bhilai was admitted to AIIMS on June 5 in an injured condition, as he met with an accident on 3 June. Officials said the state has so far confirmed corona virus infection in 1262 people and of these, 861 people are being treated and 395 people have been discharged from hospital after treatment.
